Howdy all,
The Fly Fishers of Davis March Meeting is on Tuesday, March 30th, at 7:30pm at Holmes Jr. High. The meeting starts at 7:30, but there is an opportunity starting at 6:30 to get some casting instruction with Sam Yee (see bottom of page 1 of the Newsletter for more details).
This month's topic is a unique one, with photojournalist Rick Martin who will present "Images of Fly-Fishing and How to Make Your Outdoor Photographs Better." One part of this presentation will involve Rick demonstrating his techniques using a few digital photos from members of the club. So if you have that special digital photo you'd like considered for this, please e-mail it to Brian Bechtold at bechtold.brian@gmail.com who will get them to Rick before the meeting. Just send 2 or 3 special photos, and try to send the full-res image for best results. [If you are unable to e-mail the digital photos in this manner, bring them on a flash drive or CD and come to the meeting at least 15 minutes early to load them. Feel free to contact Brian if you have any questions.]
