If you need some info to offer in debate with the "the sky is falling" politicians, this might help. Overall Ag unemployment hasn't increased substantially after all. Since Ag employment is seasonal, it always seems high (especially in mendota).... Take a look. :nod:

Thanks for posting that article. I wish I had known all the numbers when I called Feinstein's office a while back. They were telling me how many jobs had been lost because of the water rights and how high unemployment was. But it turns out three times as many jobs were lost in the salmon industry due to the Chinook run collapse and Mendota has 32% unemployment in a good year!
