broke in the new rod today the correct way. got probably like 6 grabs with 4 to hand all on the swing.

god i love spey rods. soooo much easier. also saw "Solo" floating by on his watermaster and he stopped for a chat.

definately was nice to get out for a few hours

It was great to see you on the river. Hopefully, we can float together on the A sometime in the near future. I had fun floating down on the San Juan Rapids. I was surprised how well Kodiak handled the rapids. Hope you get into some nice fish with that new Beulah you got.

yea the kodiaks are an awesome boat, im going to try mine out on the sac in redding and see if i can get a decent drift with it.

and as for the size of the fish, they ranged from 12 to around 17 inches i think
