Sold my 16ft center console fiberglass it did ok for the delta but now I'm looking for a all around fly fishing boat mostly for the delta and the american, I will probably fish the sac as well. Did this once with my old boat and wow, I found the bottom a few times.
What are the boats I should look at? Sorry don't have for 50k for a boat. Ill have to make it below 15k. Thanks

Lowe roughneck with jet outboard or check out the G2's at Sutter Marine. You can get a nice 16ft Lowe with a 80/65 or 65/40 jet for the money you are looking to spend.

I have a 1760 Roughneck, that I got from Sutter Marine last year....they were great. I put a etec 50 on it due to weight/gas savings and not wanting to deal with a big a four stroke. Works great on the Delta and the lower American and Sac. Since I fish the Delta primarily, I opted for a prop....but if you went w/a etec 60, put a jet on it...a 40 would move well.
Boat is super stable and the 'tiller' model provides me w/nearly 14' of open, walkable waterline casting room....which is what I wanted more than anything...an open stable casting platform for two or three people. I added a side console and two seat boxes, leaving the center wide open.
