Nice stuff Charlie.......

Joe Patterson and some other old buddies were going to Kodiak Island repeatedly a while ago and did some "road fishing" there.

They rented a car and drove around and fished the streams you could drive to for several years.

That fishing was nothing like the fly out remote streams but still had some Silver Salmon but they did not bight well.

They finally added those "airplane spinners" to their Silver Salmon flies and it worked.
