RAWSTRON, Jr., Robert R.
Born Oct. 20, 1929 in Claremont, New Hampshire and passed away in Rancho Cordova on January 11, 2010. U.S. Navy veteran, serving in the Pacific.
Bob worked for the California Dept. of Fish and Game for 30 years.
Survived by his children, Robert R. Rawstron III, Paige Rawstron, Shannon Michael, Michael, Sheri, Becky, David, and Aminie Elsberry, Also survived by sister Jeanne Robbins and two nieces. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty and son, Ricky.
Proud grandfather of 23 and great-grandfather of 18.
Bob touched literally thousands of lives professionally and personally and served as a role model for many. He was very fortunately able to combine his vocation and avocation as a lifelong fisherman. Bob was the recipient of many awards and authored many technical papers.
Celebration of life service on Saturday, January 30th at noon at W.F. Gormley & Sons, 2015 Capitol Avenue, Sacramento, followed by a reception at the Rawstron residence.
