As most of you know welded loops are a big deal now with many generations of change going on. Welded loop technology is changing all the time and they are now very strong.

The top fly line manufacturers are putting welded loops on both ends of almost all fly lines they make now.

We do recommend that you use larger diameter mono for the butt section of your leader so your perfection or surgeon's loop does not cut into the welded loops.

**The group of people who don't use welded loops is getting smaller every day.

Another big change in weight forward full floating lines this year is that they are now coming in two tone ot two colors. The 'head' is one color and the running line is another color. This helps let people know when they have the entire "head" out past the end of the rod for getting the rod fully loaded before they make any long casts.

It also lets you know how much 'over-hang' you are using too. 'Over-hang' is how much running line you have out past the tip while casting.
