We don't have it but I think you might be able to get it at West Marine and maybe Home Depot?

Sounds like it would be something good to have around.

Be sure to take a minute and watch their video clips on their web site.

From site----"Use for an emergency fan belt" I'm going to buy a roll just to see how strong it is. PB

Would have been nice to have some when my tube sprung a leak!

This stuff is pretty cool. Last year they were in the hunting section at the sac ISE show. The tape bonds to itself so there is no need to have a clean surface. The stuff is really strong, too.

Rescue Tape costs $25.00 for 12 ft. Pretty much the same stuff sold as "Mighty Fixit" tape costs $20.00 for 60 feet. https://www.mightyfixit.com/flare/next?tag=os%7Caf

The original silicone "Tommy tape" was made in Jupiter Florida. "Out of this world - made in Jupiter". Though Tommy is now sold by Midsun (I think they make almost everyone's silicone tape) they kept the "out of this world" trademark complete with a logo of Saturn instead of Jupiter. http://www.midsunspecialtyproducts.com/nitro/about/about.htm

I think its original use was for grafting citrus trees but it was replaced by a breathable material. Lisa used to rep Tommy tape in the 70's when she worked at Swigard's Hardware in Tahoe City. Every few years it pops up under various names on late night TV commercials, Sunday newspaper inserts, at fairs, and trade shows. It almost works as advertised, but take the claims with a liberal grain of salt and consider the source.

Everyone should have a roll or two. I have one in my gear bag, pontoon boat and float tube. Works great.
