Went up to hatchery today. They just got done spawning steelhead, but i was able to talk to a hatchery worker. I asked them if they got quota on salmon eggs, he replied they don't have an answer yet but it looks pretty good. They're still doing surveys on the river. I asked what was the biggest steelhead they've seen come through the hatchery this year, he said 15 lbs. I have attached some pictures of the holding tank with some steel. Most of these fish were from 9-12 pounds with one brute that had to go 14lbs. There were some chunky egg wagons with a few chromers.:eek:
