Join the Sac-Sierra Chapter of Trout Unlimited as cutting-edge film maker Mikey Wier presents breathtaking film and discusses his amazing fly fishing adventures to a pristine Mongolian river in pursuit of legendary taimen. These extraordinary relatives of trout and salmon have been reported to a length of six feet and weights over 200 pounds.

A raffle and silent auction to benefit northern California’s cold water resources will follow.

No admission charge, but we will be selling raffle tickets for several items including some great books and some good fishing swag. We'll also be auctioning a reel (either a Lamson Velocity V2 or an Orvis Battenkill Mid Arbor). All proceeds go to local TU cold-water fisheries conservation projects.
