Last time you could buy this 10 footers they were around $1,200, now they would be about $1,500.

Good for one big person or two medium size people.

I used a 4hp on mine.

Don Rotsma @ Davis Lake has it now.

This is one of the very few stable prams ever made.

They came in 8, 10, 12 and 14 feet and were 44" wide at the bottom.

** Right now Brian @ Sutter Marine is working on getting them made again, locally. They will be better than the old ones, fully welded.

The Valco 10 foot pram I had was so good, some!@#$%^&*()$%^& decided to steal it from its rack at the duck club.

Beside being great for duck hunting. it was an outstanding boat for Fall River.

From what I understand is Klamath boats bought the dies from Valco a few years back when they closed uo shop. They wont build them because of the jack boats they build. I've got one that I'm thinking about getting rid of.

Randy, did you just get this one a while back?

Yes, I think it is a 1986 model year.

I guess not many people know what this is?

Boats like this is why I wouldn't take a pontoon boat for free.

I have fished out of everything that floats and would never go in a boat I can't stand and cast out of.

I bet you can not only stand to cast in that pram, I bet you can DANCE to cast in it. Looks very stable. A little sanding & refinishing or replacement of the wood parts might be in order just so you don't get splinters in your ass, but other than that, go fish it!

This is a great price...I recently sold a 10' Western only because I'm moving south and will be primarily blue water fishing requiring a larger boat...it was hard letting the pram go. Anyone out there considering this...jump on it...fishing from a pram will get you to the fish and is way more comfortable than float tube or pontoon boat......good luck Randy....
