Our friend Dave Barbieri is multi-talented.

He is a licensed fly fishing drift boat guide who works on the Lower Yuba River and Lower American River.

He also drive a taxi in Sacramento.

He also has a shuttle service on the Lower Yuba and Lower American for $30.00 with his cab.

He also runs heavy equipment but that is not going well now.

Dave is also interested in tournament casting.

Born and raised in Yuba City, local fly fishing drift boat guide Dave Barbieri has private access on the Lower Yuba River 'below' Daguerre Dam where he can float you right from the dam downstream for 5 to 10 miles for trout, steelhead, stripers, shad and smallmouth bass depending on the time of year.

The only other guides that work that water are jet boat guides in May/June in high water years when the American Shad can get up into the river.
