Getting ready for some salt next month. These are all tied with the Clear Cure Goo... I used one syringe and got 30 flies out of it. Surf Candies and the Goo Heads take a lot of material but it is worth it.

Tied these up with my boy who was sick

Here we go.

Those are some real nice looking flies. I hope to see pictures of them after your trip to see how well they survive. Hopefully they will be totally destroyed by lots of big hungry fish.

The heads would have been nicer but I didnt put them on a turning wheel before I zapped them. I made them in about an hour to and hour and a half.. Not bad for 30 flies.
The could have looked better.

Pics in use will come next month... going after the Albacore.

I think they look great! I bet they look pretty cool sitting together in rows in your box with all the different colors and all. Imagine you're going to do really well with flies like that. Thanks for sharing the pics! 8)

I use the CCG also..here is one of the spoons I made. Aside from the looks...it really does wobble nicely and rides point up...and doesn't spin.

The Goo made it pretty easy...the hard part was just gettin the fly ready for the Goo. Anyway..first post on here..saw the Goo head and did'nt mean to hi-jack it...

Nice and sparkly grassrat, are you using those for smallies?

no sir...I wish I had some of those bronze fish here in eastern nc. I haven't caught a fish on any that I've made as of yet...but I'm pretty new to the spoonfly thing. It looks killer in the water so Im hoping it will find some Striper tissue to hang in this upcoming month.
Most of what I use and tie is very close to the above posters flies..lots in craft fur..some in polarfibre.

I forgot to say earlier Bcarson...nice ties. they should do well on the Tunnys indeed...you sure have lots to pic from!!!

Grassrat, welcome aboard! I've never seen a spoon fly like that but it looks really cool (love the colors and eyes) and bet it would be a killer on largemouth bass.

Now we're talkin'.... Good lookin' Squid pattern. Only objection might be that the "goo" is a hard body.... But, I like it!!!!
