Hey All,
I finally motivated enough to upload some photos to photobucket and post a trip that a buddy and I took in August. I know it's already fall, but better late than never. First of all, I'm grateful for the beta that Ryan Johnston shared earlier in the summer as it helped in planning a successful trip. My buddy and I floated 40.5 miles of the South Fork Snake from the dam at Palisades Reservoir down to the Byington take-out. We spent two nights/three days on the river (second week of August) and had a blast. We averaged 50-60 fish days primarily on small pmd dries/emergers. Although my biggest fish came on chernobyl ant the first day, we ended up fishing small bugs for the majority of the float.

All in all we had a great time! A $40 dollar shuttle, $9 total for day use fees, a cooler full of food and beer.............by far the cheapest trip I have ever taken for excellent fish and beautiful scenery.
