Been away from flyfishing for a while. Just starting striper fishing & new to the board. Have an older 9wt Sage already. Looking for a 2nd rod to have floater & sinker onboard. Have not heard of Albright- is this a quality rod for throwing a SA streamer express 300 gr.?

Hi .

I have to be honest , a 300 would be a bit light for the XX - 350 would do the trick , or 28-30 feet of LC-13 or T-14 . If you would like to test cast it , I'm in Fair Oaks and would be happy to let you try it out this week .
