Out again early. Hooked & lost a fish of about 22"s and then caught & released this 24" wild fish. It took my glo bug. All this about five minutes from the house.

Thanks Gordon

How do you think this fall will be on the Rogue?

I guess October is still a top month for fly fishing?

Bill: Based on my info think the count will be slightly over 9,000 summer fish which is about normal. Last year the number was about 6,000.

I just learned over the weekend that a good friend of mine is getting property on the Rogue so it looks like I will be visiting him alot more often.

Dang Gordon,

First you taunt us with those beauty stillwater fish, then you this? 5 minutes from home?

Jeez, some guys have all the fun...

BTW, how do you fish a glo-bug on the switch/spey? Indi or swing? Naked and dead?

I dead drift with an indicator with lots of mending. Top fly is a glo bug and the bottom fly is a bead head nymph.
