Bend/Sunriver Oregon winter fishing options?

Gonna be in sunriver just after x-mas this year to snowboard mt. bachelor. We'll be there for a week and watned to see if there was any good fishing available then.

Also, if fly fishing/gear fishing is both available that'd be great because the people i'll be with most likely wonte be fly fishing.

The crooked and the metolius are really the only game in town that time of year. The Met can be fantastic in the winter. Flies only tho.

thanks jbird, i've fished the metolious before in the summer when we had a vacation house for a couple weeks backing up to the deschutes. couldn't fly ifsh for my life, but the metolious is gorgeous.
