Second time out this year and hooked and landed this jack salmon on my trusty bead head nymph. Water flow is about 1,200 cfs.

Very clean fish, but is it just me or is that fish missing a chunk and fin?

is that the ACR 13'1" steelheader? Love that rod

The rod is a 3 piece ARC 13'3", 7 weight. To Fochetti: It was fairly dark when I released this fish but saw no fins missing.

Nice jack, hows the ACR treating you? What line do you run for nymphing? My ACR should be coming in a couple weeks!

Love the ARC rod, have been using a Rio Wind Cutter but this week went to a line that Gary put on my Ross CLA 5. Like both lines. Nice to have Gary less than 6 miles from the house.

Sweet! You're talking about the 'steelie' scandi line right?

I'm trying to squeeze a trip out of my mom or dad to get up to the rogue before its gets real cold. My buddy up there has been in law school and will be for the next 17 months, so its been a while since i've gotten to fish it, (in fact last time i was there was my first steelhead ever), but theres somehint about the rogue that makes it like nowhere else.
