I am moving to Reno. So, this means that I will be posting info about the area up there for you guys.

I already know the usual spots fairly well, however if anyone has any recommendations about spots I should try out. Please tell me here or PM me.

Great choice! Your only an hour away from Lake Davis. There are a ton of good creeks here in Eastern Plumas County as well, I'll have to show you some next year. Enjoy the cheaper gas prices, Reno is a great town!

Reno is a cool city to live in for fishing and hunting.

You have the Reno Fly Shop and I believe their is a Reno fly fishing club too.

Thanks Guys,

I will definitely be putting in a lot of time learning all the local waters, so you will probably all benefit a little from this move.

Scott,

Thanks, and I expect to see you often up there.

Welcome to Reno! The Reno Fly Shop is a great resource and I encourage you to get involved in our Trout Unlimited chapter (www.sagebrushtu.org). There's no personal state income tax, people are very friendly, we're anywhere from 5-60 minutes from excellent fisheries and there's always some event going on.

However there are no good fishing spots to post about on this board. Nothing. Nada. No reason to pass along anything. Everything's dry. It's a desert. Sorry.

Cheers,
Mike
