I have realized that I haven't posted anything in quite a while. I fished about 6 times during the summer, mainly local small streams. The best trips I took where with my Dad. Here's a few shots from those trip:

I hope that you guys had some fun summer trips with friends and/or family as well. Now that school has started up and I'm working full-time again I won't be getting out fishing much. When I do get a chance I will post some more reports and /or pictures afterwards.

Good fishing - Adam

Very nice. You and your dad look alike. Its special times when one gets to fish with there father. Only 6 trips this summer huh, I feel your pain I think last weekend put me at 51 days on a river since the trout opener. Thats not enough !

Glad to see you put that tripod to use on the last shot! I hate it when I pack mine along without using it. Tough scene to expose right, but you got a winner there. I'm sure you made a 5x7 of it for dad.

The fish are too small to excite me ;), but that's beeeeutiful scenery and water! Thanks for posting!

Beautiful pictures. For me, the 'catching' would've been a nice bonus as just being there to lean on one of those rocks as water flowed by while being a part of that environment would've been more than enough.

Great Adam.

I was very luck to have been able to spend some wonderful times with my dad before he passed on.

When I turned 21 he took me on a road trip down to Baja. Just me and dad, it was so cool.

Be sure to spend time with your parents because you never know when they will not be here.

Thanks guys, it's nice to be back. Ya, fishing with the old man was a bunch of fun. He taught me on small streams like that so it was fun fishing the small stuff like we used to do years ago. We caught a bunch of fish, nothing huge but a few pushed 12" which is pretty good for most small streams. Better yet we really enjoyed each others company. We had 2 nice trips this summer, good times with Dad.

Jay, Dude I love your Avatar! Did you take that shot?
