The CFFU ANNUAL DINNER will be Saturday, November 7th, at the
Carmichael Elks Club! Doors open at 4:30 - Dinner at 6:00 p.m.
We hope you will plan to attend and bring your spouse or significant other. Guests are also welcome.
Tickets this year are $40 each with a choice of baked Chicken Breast or London Broil --- AND INCLUDE WINE ON EACH TABLE AND APPETIZERS BEFORE DINNER. More details are available at http://cffu.org > ACTIVITIES >DINNER, or, UPCOMING EVENTS > CFFU ANNUAL DINNER!
BUY YOUR TICKETS NOW and support your club! You can go to http://cffu.org and scroll down to the reminder for the ANNUAL DINNER, click on it and it will take you to the page where you can pay for your dinner tickets using your credit card through PayPal. OR, you can pay by check or credit card at the OCTOBER or NOVEMBER CFFU General Meeting. The last day to buy your tickets will be at the November General Meeting. No tickets will be sold at the door.

This is CFFU's major fund raiser for the year. THIS YEAR'S DINNER WILL BE A FUN SOCIAL EVENT WITH MANY OPPORTUNITIES TO BUY OR WIN GREAT PRIZES. GREGORY SHAFFER will again entertain us as Master of Ceremonies and LIVE AUCTION auctioneer.

There are a few changes in the Dinner this year.

NEW - Notice that the name of the dinner is "CFFU ANNUAL DINNER". This dinner helps CFFU support ALL of it's outreach programs, not just the scholarship.

NEW - BITTNER SCHOLARSHIP - There will NOT be a presentation of the scholarship at the dinner this year due to a change in the procedure for making the award through University of California at Davis. The award will be made at the March General CFFU Meetings.

NEW - MORE ways to help CFFU support outreach programs. In addition to our LIVE AUCTION, SILENT AUCTION, and RAFFLE, you will have MORE opportunities to WIN, e.g. raffle board, "Buy a cup", 50-50, and maybe more.

NEW - RESERVE A TABLE - If you have a group of 8 people that all want to sit together, this year you can reserve a table. After all 8 people have purchased their tickets, just send me (larneph@pacbell.net) an e-mail asking for a reserved table. We will place a "RESERVED" sign on one of the tables with a list of the 8 people who will be seated at that table. You don't have to leave your sweater or tip your chair this year.

NEW - RAFFLE TICKETS - Buy your raffle tickets early and they will be packaged and ready for you at the Raffle Table. NO STAMPING TICKETS this year! Instead each group of tickets will include a card with the number range of your tickets and ticket numbers will be called.

As in previous years, there will be a list of all of the donations available for you to see on the CFFU website. To find the list of donations (it will be posted soon) you can go to cffu.org > ACTIVITIES > Dinner Donations, or to the DINNER page and look for the link.

Don't forget, your DONATIONS are welcome too! All donations must be submitted to Bob & Phoebe Larne no later than the November General meeting. I'll be sending out another e-mail about DONATIONS soon.
