Fly Fishers of Davis members,
On this Saturday,September 19, Putah Creek Trout is sponsoring a trash collection site as part of the Coastal Commission's international cleanup day. They will be responsible for the area between Access 5 and the dam. The cleanup is scheduled for 9 a.m.-12 noon, meeting at Access 5 and spreading out from there. Please plan to attend if you can. An RSVP to Steve Karr at sleekarr@aim.com would be most helpful to know how much of the 4.5 miles they can cover. PCT will be providing gloves and bags to pick up trash and recyclables. They will also provide water, but bring a water bottle.
Note that this is not our club's Putah Creek Cleanup. We'll do that in a couple of months after the bait season ends, as is our custom.
