Just got back from a 5 day fishing trip to Davis Lake.
The fishing is outstanding. This trip was one of the best at Davis in
years.
It fished like I used to remember before all the problems with pike
Every morning fish would be rising all over the lake until the wind put
them down.
Fish took drys, nymphs, woolly buggers and about anything you wanted to
use.
In typical morning we would land 30 plus fish. Most are 8" to 14" with
several over 16".
They are all fat and healthy looking.
We fished mostly from Camp 5 north to Cow Creek.
