I've got the big brother of that rod... the 9' 8-9 wgt. I've caught everything from Strippers (29 1/2 lbs) to bonefish to steelhead to Large Mouth bass. They were not the fastest, but they have a real smooth action. If I was in the market I'd take it off your hands!
