Side Imagine Fish Finders....Anyone used one?

I've used a Fishing Buddy for a couple years, but recently saw someone w/a Humminbird Side Imaging fish finder....looked interesting, but can it really allow you to see stripers and fish on either side of the boat:question:

Where do you mount the transducer, that will not affect the side beam?

If anyone has one or has used one, particularly w/stripers, I'd be curious to hear your thoughts :unibrow:

The Fishin Buddy 120 and 130 have side imaging, no? I plan to order one. Other than that, how do you like the FB? I will use on a 'toon.
