Morrison's Rogue River Lodge Trip

We have secured two prime time dates with Morrison's Rogue River Lodge. The dates are October 19th-22nd. Morrison's is Southern Oregon's premier fishing resort located on the Rogue River below Grants Pass in one of the most beautiful settings you will find anywhere. Originally built in 1946, Morrison's offers some of the finest steelhead fishing in the Northwest. The trip includes three night's stay, two days guided fishing, and all of the meals. I will be hosting the trip and we have room for three anglers. The cost of the trip is $1,037.00. The only additional cost will be the tips for the guides. This is one heck of a deal! Morrison's is a great lodge with a beautiful setting on the Rogue. Not to mention that fact that the Rogue is seeing a great return of half pound and adult steelhead this year.

The early indicators show great news for Rogue River Steelhead fishing. The large numbers of “half pounders” last year are bringing a good return of adults this season. Even the ODFW says that we are on a good track without being too committed.
"This year's early run would look pretty darn good in a lot of decades on the Rogue," says Dan VanDyke, the ODFW's Rogue District fish biologist. "But this decade, we've had some outstanding runs of summer steelhead. We're not at 'outstanding.' But 'better' and 'solid' are words I'd use."
