Katherine Evatt and Pete Bell of the Foothill Conservancy group will be presenting tonight, Sept. 3rd, at the Sac-Sierra Trout Unlimited chapter meeting in Carmichael, CA. Their topics of presentation will include the opposition to the possible Pardee Reservoir Dam expansion, and the benefits of the proposed Wild and Scenic designation of 37 river miles of the Mokelumne River below Salt Spring Reservoir.
All are welcomed and encouraged to come hear two of this area's passionate conservationists discuss the preservation and restoration of one California's most essential watersheds, the Mokelumne River.
The meeting will be held at the Mission Oaks Community Center, 4701 Gibbons Dr., Carmichael CA, and will begin at 7:00 pm. Again, all are welcomed.
