Fished Monday and Tuesday on the lower river with top jet boat guide Alan Borges, from Klamath Glen to Johnson's Bar.
Some adult fish were holding at Blue Creek but did not like any flies we swung through them much. We caught a few Half-pounders and a jack salmon.
Monday the water was low and clear, weather was warm and skies were clear.
Tuesday they opened the water on the Trinity River from 400 to 3000 which ran tons of sediment and moss down the Klamath. Still not good for fly fishing.
On Monday evening a ton of fresh King Salmon came into the mouth of the Klamath River.
September and October could be very good.
