Beulah Surf Rods

Hey guys, has anyone fished this rod? I am looking at the 7/8 for fishing stripers around here on the beaches, and then taking with me to school next year for fishing the puget sound. JBird, maybe you could chime in? I believe you've played around with them a little.

I havent fished it, but everytime I go over to James' house/shop, he lines one up and takes me out to the street to cast it. LOL I have never seen James more excited about one of his products than he is about the surf rod. It is definitly the the longest casting overhead rod I have ever cast. It is very light and very lively in your hands. It reacts a lot like his Bluewater series, which are the finest casting rods Ive ever used. It would make the ultimate steelhead crossover rod, it is the only rod of its length light enough to REALISTICALLY fish singlehand, and its a two handed cannon.

In short terms....get it!
