Woo-HOO!!! Oh happy day!
I love this place, and I was devastated when it showed up on the no-plant list. It's a GORGEOUS tube/'toon/yak lake for those who've never been there. Some of the nicest camping in the Crystal Basin to boot. No motors PERIOD. Crystal clear water, beautiful scenery.
I'll be in Tahoe the weekend after the "kids" get dropped off so I'll at least have something to throw at. Wonder if they'll leave browns or 'bows this time? I fished it for an hour last week and stalked a NICE fish for a while, but couldn't get it. Got one other hit otherwise, but no dice. I saw very few so I'm glad they'll have some company soon.
