Aloha, Luke and I went on a fishing trip to florida and then jumped over to grand bahama for a couple of days bonefishing. We fished mosquito lagoon for a day with captain Todd Fuller. We saw a lot of redfish, but they were lazy and would only eat something right in front of them. I had one break me off, and then we got into some black drum, they were ugly but pulled hard.

Then it was off to grand bahama. That was a blast, so many bonefish and such beautiful water and flats.

The schools of fish were just crazy. This is one was caught on the flats.

Luke and I had a great time, but the sharks were tough. They would eat your fish off your line, or even after you released them.

I got a couple of nice 7-8lb ones. I was very impressed with the size and numbers of fish.

Luke got his largest bone to date, 8lbs. He was stoked he got biggest fish!

It was a very beautiful place, and we saved money by booking our own guides and staying in a modest hotel.

The bones like the turtle grass, the water was very clear, great for diving.

We got back yesterday and stopped by one of our favorite beaches and ran into these mantas. It was a great trip.
