Oh, maybe I begin to remember how

Went out to Little Mandeville hoping it would be better than the Piper Slough/Sandmound area. It was. When she gently took it I thought I had another nice but not memorable fish. That changed about 10 seconds later. Long fight for a largemouth. Boga said nine pounds. It has been quite some time since that happened.

Beautiful day with almost no wind and the Little Mandeville area is wonderful. Every spot looks like it must hold fish. I think I might try it again.

Wow! :shock: That is one of those once-in-a-lifetime type fish. Richard, did you get that one on top with one of your deer hair divers?

I only fish top water, and it was one of my Dahlberg Divers, a bit bedraggled I'm afraid. Here is what they mean when they say large mouth.

Look at that head , Richard ...... I'll bet that girl will go as high as 11+ Lbs. by Fall - sweet !!!!!!!!
