When our mother of nature (Army Engineers) was asked to create some tidal black bass water she tossed together some wood.....a lot of crazy wood, tulles, meandering slough's and BAM! We have Snodgrass Slough. I don't know how many miles I fished but I can tell you that I had incredible bass targets every 3 or 4 feet. For 3 days I tossed the Sage LMB rod with a variety of top water bugs and had a fantastic trip. Gnarly wood snags, cheese, points, rock walls and overhung trees, it go's on and on and....
I reached a bridge that the Swallow's call home and pitched a big top water black creature under the mud nest's that surround one of the supports. As soon as the bug hit the water I had a massive blowup that I figured was a nice striper....PIKE wth !
