Mac was part of our group of old time fly fishers in Sacramento. He was a member of the local fly club back in the day. He fished all over the world with Joe Shirshac and friends. Mac was a very special man who was very good to us all. I was so lucky to fish for two weeks camping on the famous Dean River for Steelhead with Mac, Joe, Chris Pasley and Jack Sturdevant. It was one of the finest times of my life.
