Everyone,
The newly revitalized Sagebrush Chapter of Trout Unlimited in Reno is hosting a river cleanup day this Saturday on the Truckee. We'll be meeting at Mayberry Park in Reno at 8am and should finish up around 10am. Afterward several of the folks will probably stick around to fish for a while.

The Sagebrush Chapter of TU was jumped-started back to life by an extremely generous bequest from Dr and Mrs. Richard Kroening. The chapter has developed a program to maintain the endowment and utilize it in funding projects related to cold water fisheries. It's a very exciting time for the Sagebrush Chapter with a lot going on.

Applications for the first funding cycle should be available in mid to late summer. Updates and information will be posted on the chapter website as it is available.

Thanks!

hope all goes well. I have been wanting to plan one of these on the Lower Feather River. Kudos for you actually doing it.

AWESOME! It is National Rivers Month, according to American Rivers: http://www.americanrivers.org/our-work/restoring-rivers/national-river-cleanup/

Anyone can organize a clean-up with guidance available on their website. It's very informative.

Good luck!
