For the past few weeks its been non-stop striper flies for the guys on the SAC but now I've got several orders I need to catch up on.

In a couple of weeks I'll be hosting another group of guys going to La Paz on one of Jay's package trips. Several of the guys going have been ordering lots of my MOP Sardina patterns and now I've expanded in to baby dorado and mackeral patterns as well.

All of a sudden it's getting hard to get caught up as well as plan a few for yourself.

I'm hoping in a couple more weeks the water down there will warm up and things will really kick in.

Tony,

Make the flies thin, short, very little if any flash and earth tone colors. The guys who have been here will tell you the same. This information came from Grant Hartman of Baja Angler's in Cabo. I met and talked to him one day on the beach and he pasted the information. I would definitely take his advice since he's on the water over 250 days a year. Most people changed over and caught fish the next day.
One of the patterns was Charlie's Air Head Popper in the brown color and short
