Drove up to the wildlife area below Oroville today, I have family who live in the area so I visit there often. The area can be outstanding in years the shad make it up that far, today was a skunk for me, not even any signs of moving fish in areas I normally do good and I stayed until sundown. Stopped by Johnsons in Yuba City on the way and talked to a fella named Bob, told me he was catching upwards of 80 fish in the evenings and quitting by 8:00 pm, this is somewhere around Yuba City and out of a boat. Also said they were beginning to get the larger hens now, so fish are still moving up.
