steelhead in May

i just wanted to know if there are still steelhead in the river i am new to steelhead flyfishing and just wanted to know if they are still in the river or are they gone ? whats going on anything lintel the winter run ?

The emphasis is on Shad/Striper fishing right now. However, if you don't have a boat, it's difficult wading in the high flows in valley rivers.... Concentrate on reservoirs or small creek/stream trout or warm water fishing for now.... :cool:

I am sure there are some Steelhead in the valley rivers now but there is also so much water it is probably hard to find them?
