I've been reading about a proposed aquaculture (fish farming) project that will if permitted be implemented approximately 5 miles off the the coast of San Diego. Check it out:

Altho the technology fascinates me, there are some obvious environmental and economic problems with this business. Is this one of those thins of the future that we have to accept and adapt to :question: What does it mean for saltwater fisheries :question: This kinda comes under the same umbrella as nuclear power generation and desalinization projects. (good/bad) Does anyone here have any observations to add :question:
