Floated the Y from Hwy 20 down to Sycamore. WOW!!!!! From 8:30am to about 1:00pm it was an absolute "Bug Smorgasbord". There were several different Mays, Caddis, and a few Little yellow stones.
I fished the first riffle for almost 3 hours switching between dries and nymphs. Big fish taking dries. I hooked one fish that I never could land, just got a straightend hook back.
Things slowed down after 1:00. The cool was when the rain got heavier so did the BWO hatch. Nobody on the lower water, all the waders were upstream of the bridge.
