Actually, Wednesday was my first day on the Lower Sac. Also went with Ryan Johnston, who was a great guide. The water was a little off-color, but Ryan knew where the fish were, which was generally not where I would have guessed. I don't remember how many I landed - probably more than 20. Pretty fish there that remind me a lot of Yuba rainbows.

We fished a stretch downstream from Redding around Jelly's Ferry. It was really pretty there, without any homes or other signs of civilization.
