I went to the Feather for the first time last Friday. The river was much bigger than I expected. Had a lot of fun, except for all the driving I did through the Wildlife area trying to find fishing spots (wanted to explore as much as possible on my first trip).

Caught quite a few fish swinging steelhead patterns and soft hackles. The biggest were in the mid 20's, and the smallest was 20 or 21 inch (first time I've ever gone fishing and caught more than 5 fish and all were over 20 inches).
