Merced River near Mariposa

Has anyone fished this area? I am planning to go this weekend for the opener. I have never fished the area. Any fly recommendations??

Hi,
I'm not sure how familiar you are with the area but you might want to consider the flows. The recent jump in temps has really kicked the snow melt into high gear. The flows on the Merced have risen from a little over 2200 cfs last weekend to about 5800 cfs today.

Took some time off to drive up to Yosemite today. Took about 100 pictures and thought I’d share a few with the group. With the storm clearing out there was one spectacular view after another.

Mered River, one of my favorite waters. A little high to fish right now though.
