Where to go, and what to use?

I'm trying to plan a striper trip for the beginning of May and I'm seeking advice, considering that I'm practically new to striper fishing. I've got a 20' bass boat and was wondering where we should and/or can go, and what types of flies we should use to catch fish? Any advice is GREATLY appreciated!

Beware,.... Once in the hunt, it's addicting. :unibrow: I'd recommend spending a day with a knowledgeable friend or Striper Guide like Andy Guibord or Charlie Gonzalez to answer all your questions and get you going. :cool:

What you use will depend on how you want to catch them...

Top-water is always more exciting :eek:, but sub-surface usually produces more...

:confused:So, you have to decide, do you want to go "fishing" or "catching"... LOL.
