I am just starting my adventure into Spey Flyfishing and have ordered a Meiser 12'6'' highlander.
I need a reel to match, and it was recommended to me to get a reel that weighed between 8.5-9.5 ounces.
I would appreciate your recommendations, and also your thoughts about two specific reels, the AlbrightGPX9-10 and the Sealevel Flyfishing Reel 9-10.
Thanks in advance for your advice.

Take a look at Tetons, good prices solid reels and would perform well on the T and other rivers up there

check out the Galvan Rush series and the Ross CLA series. Look for the size and weight that will work for your rod. I have both reels and have never had any problem with either.
Solid built, good price range and excellent drags.

SS,

Thats a nice rod. I do not know anything about the two reels mentioned but here are a couple to consider that would balance that rod well. Hardy Marquis 1, Galvan Rush 10, and Ross CLA 4.
