Been fooling around with Silver Hilton type flies and came up with a few fun variations using silk floss bodies or the split floss dubbing technique (fuzzy ones):

P@ris Hilt*n (sic) [hopefully fool her lawyers if they are scanning for name use]

Pretty cool looking flies Brian.

That is the fun of Steelheading, that you can tie up some variations that will catch fish too.

Those are the kind of flies I like to fish "upriver" in the fall.

Nice flies Cal. There is a fly "out there" called the Paris Hilton. Similar idea but a little different. If you want the explanation of the name you will have to search it out. :)

Are you using GP crest for the tails?

See ya,
Mike

Yeah, had to figure that name has already been used, so obvious. So, now there are many.

Yes, GP crest for the tails. Natural, dyed hot orange and red.

I forgot how much I love the way the splayed wings fish in the water. I can't think of another wing type that has so much natural movement.

Again, nice ties.
