Hi folks,

Just wanted to get some feedback from fellow anglers about their thoughts on Winston's new BII-MX rods. I am looking for a bonefish rod. I have heard good things about Sage's z-axis, xi2, and now the tcx for saltwater applications, but it seems Winston has fallen off the map so to speak. I fish Winston's in 4, 5 and 6 weights for trout, but I don't have any experience fishing their heavier rods.

Thanks!

We were all just casting the 9'#8 weight 4 piece MX and it is a fine rod for flats fishing or Stripers.

We recommend coming in and casting all those rods together and get the one that fits your casting style.

That is what everyone who works here at Kiene's does........

PS: If you are wading for Bonefish you need a rod with a little tip flex for short accurate casting.

Off the deck of a poled flats boat you might want a faster tip rod for longer casts.
