We have had a number of groups return from Anglers Inn at Lake El Salto with excellent fishing reports. The topwater and shallow water fly fishing continues to be strong this winter with some "grande" trophy Bass being landed.
The top producing flies have been shad imitations such as the Crease Fly (Ron Dong version) or bubble-head for topwater presentations. The top producer for subsurface action continues to be the #2 gummy minnow.
