Does anyone know the status of Prospect Island. Is it Flooded?????

Good Morning Frank .

I haven't heard anything about Prospect Island in quite a while .

At Dan Blantons STRIPERFEST , I spoke to a few guys that were there for the rescue - There was talk of getting together w/ Jeff and Bob (the two that put together the rescue) so everyone could mark the anniversery , but I don't think anything happened .

Funny thing - every now and then I still dream about my two days there . Specificly , the second day ..... crawling thru the flooded brush , running up the riprap w/ a 5 gallon bucket in each hand (too many trips to count) , the feeling I had watching the tiny fish dumped into Miner Slough .

And , especially , the B of R guy and the DFG Woman .... standing (nice and clean) on the road , talking to the news folks ..... while a bunch of old guys struggled thru the stinky mud .

I lost what little faith I had in our system during those two days .

Hey David,

I know I try to not talk about California Fish and Game. I am a supporter with a Lifetime
Hunting and Fishing License.... I am also looking forward to being a resident of Montana
