I see the fly fishing film tour is coming to Sac on Feb 9 (although the map for Sac is showing some place north of Baltimore):

They say tickets will be on sale, but for the life of me I can't find anywhere on the site where you can purchase them. Have I missed it entirely? Do y'all know where we get tickets? Do we have to call the theater? Thanks!

According to the AEG site the theater location it "tentative" so I do not believe they are selling tickets yet, even though they also say tickets on sale Jan. 1. I went last year and bought my tickets straight from their web site. Hopefully this years film will be a little better than last year, last years was short cuts from all their films, right when you were about to get into some good fishing the cut ended and they went on to another short cut from one of their other films.

Anyone know if there is any truth to the rumor that the boys from AEG have resigned?

Thanks, Scott. I thought for a second I was going nuts (nothing new). Kind of a bummer to hear that the shorts were cut. Do you remember what you paid for tickets?

Somethin's screwy. Now AEG has a page that lists Sacramento for Feb 5:

http://www.aegmedia.com/FlyFishingFilmTour/default.asp

But go to the schedule page and doesn't even list Sacramento:

http://www.aegmedia.com/FlyFishingFilmTour/Schedule.asp

And tickets are supposed to go on sale today? Hmmm...

The tour got bought out. AEG no longer runs it. Webeye Group and Tom Bie of Drake Magazine are running the show. It was kind of a last minute buyout but they've put together a great program.

I don't think the tour is actually going to start until February 18th. Type in Drake magazine and fly fishing tour and you'll get the lowdown on what happened. As far as I know, the 5th is out for a sacramento showing.

sfp, Thanks for the tip. Here's the link for the complete story if anyone wants to read it:

At least someone has picked up the ball. Hopefully, we can see something come this way.

Apparently not. According to the new schedule online:
Oxnard, Feb 18
Fresno, Feb 26
Modesto, Mar 5

I'm emailing with the guys. The Crest is ridiculously expensive to rent. They need a smaller, cheaper, venue. They are looking into it this morning.
